When you think of the world’s most successful people—whether it is our spiritual teachers, therapists, healers, creators, or business leaders—one commonality is they’ve ALL found a way to share their story in a way that attracts, inspires, and helps others.
We often know the intimate backstories of those we follow and adore. And it is because of their story that we know, like, and put our trust in them (or we dislike them or determine they are NOT our cup of tea!).
When we hear a story that resonates with our own journey, it activates something deep within us. We feel a resonance with the person, and we are also drawn to share that person’s story with others, creating a multiplier effect.
That is why those who start to share their story well can come from nowhere and suddenly create a massive following. Those who use their stories on social media, podcasts, books, and other forms of media are able to break through even in the most crowded markets.
In order to fully realize our own potential, we too must utilize and own our stories. When we do this, our future clients are drawn to us, and then it is up to us to create the transformation and results for those who choose us.
